You don't need to suffer from chronic illness, embarrassing skin problems, or overall sluggishness for the rest of your life! As a certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, I know how to piece together your symptoms and find the root cause of your health problems. With your input, I can identify what's making you feel the way you do and create a detailed plan designed to make you feel—not just better—but incredible.

At a primal level, we know that nutrition and lifestyle are the keys to living a healthy life, free from disease. But what exactly should you do for your own unique body with your own unique challenges to create a bright and balanced life for yourself?

That's where I can help!

Together, we'll discover what lifestyle changes, supplements, and nutritional changes will allow you to be the healthiest person you can be. Ultimately, the execution of the plan rests on you. But I will be there to support you all along the way.

Thanks for visiting my website.

I started to dive into functional medicine years ago when I made the alarming discovery that I have the gene for Alzheimer's disease. Since I've never been someone to accept bad news, I began to research how I might avoid my genetic fate without the use of drugs. The more I researched, the more knowledge I craved. And the more I craved answers, the more dogged I became in my research. I learned to change the way I thought about my health, and I learned to have hope when I had lived without hope for so long.

Once I started on this journey, I started to connect with people who had similar stories. I met people who had chronic diseases or constant pain or people who lived in a perpetual state of fatigue and frailty—all told by their doctors that their conditions were incurable. I knew they could benefit from the knowledge I was assembling through my research.

So, I took my investigation to the next level with a 4-year, formal education in nutrition and health coaching. I followed that course of study with a fantastic deep dive into the science of functional medicine. I will never stop learning.

My mission is to share my depth of knowledge with my clients, to help them find the root cause of their medical problems, to clear up skin problems from the inside out, and to create individualized plans based on nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle changes to carve a new path forward.

Diseases begin in the gut. It’s that simple. The majority of your immune system is located in your gut, and the status of your gut defines the status of your body. Gut problems often start out small—like with IBS—but can easily develop into serious gastrointestinal disease.  I have spent hundreds of hours studying ways to heal what is broken in your gut so you can embark on a healthy path for the rest of your life.

Because I have suffered from several “incurable” skin diseases, I can truly relate to how frustrating and often embarrassing this can be. Antibiotics and creams can’t truly fix skin disease because your skin is a reflection of the health inside your body. Whether it’s rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, acne, or another skin condition, the only path to remission is to find the root cause of the inflammation on the inside.

Did you know the vast majority of chronic diseases can be prevented, greatly improved, or reversed through diet and lifestyle modifications? Most chronic illnesses happen suddenly and for no apparent reason. Perhaps your doctor has told you there is no cure for your illness, your condition, or your pain. No matter what you've been told, I can help you. Together, we will uncover the reasons you are suffering and find pathways to a better quality of life.

It's all in the way you balance life.
