Why do I need a functional medicine health coach?

At a primal level, we understand that nutrition and lifestyle are the keys to shaping a healthy, disease-free life. But what kind of nutrition do you as a unique individual truly need? What kind of lifestyle changes should you as a unique individual really integrate into your life? What supplements are the best for your unique body? What are you doing that is hindering you from being the healthiest you can be? These are questions a reputable functional medicine health coach has spent hundreds of hours researching. Functional medicine coaches have the ability to investigate and discover the root cause of your health problems and construct a plan to help you feel fantastic. Ultimately, it’s up to you. But we are here to help you along your journey.

Do you work with clients outside your area?

Absolutely! I am happy to see clients in-person if they live near Louisville, KY. However, I do the vast majority of my sessions by video conference. So, it doesn't matter if you're in Alabama or Alaska, Wisconsin or Wyoming. I can help you achieve your goals.

What kind of lifestyle changes will I need to make?

The biggest contributors to disease are toxins, stress, and crap foods (foods that take essential nutrients from the body causing you to overeat, to gain weight quickly and to feel lethargic throughout the day). It is essential that we eliminate these from your life in order for you to be healthy. The lifestyle changes you will need to make depend entirely on your current lifestyle and what health issues you are battling. Our focus, however, will be replacing the crap foods, toxins and stress in your life with healthier foods for your unique body, cleaner choices for your unique environment and the elimination of stress. This is done through healthier food choices, supplements and lifestyle improvements.

How long will I need to see you?

This is probably the most frequently asked question I get and the question I can only answer during our initial session. Many times, my clients notice very substantial improvements within the first few weeks to a month. However, if a client is struggling with an entrenched autoimmune disease, for example, it can take much longer. No matter the length of your journey, the commitment is worth any length of time because of the benefits derived. There is absolutely nothing better than waking up every morning feeling fantastic and ready to take on the world.

How much will this cost?

I will discuss my fee structure in our initial session, but I will say that my services are affordable to most people. I structure my plan for individual clients according to what they are willing and able to spend. I understand wellness is invaluable, but it needs to also be within reach.
